Ezekiel’s personal and prophetic story (Part 2)

In Part 1, I described the Prophet Ezekiel, his persona, and his signs given as instructed by God as key indicators for events to come in our current last days time period. Ezekiel’s signs, specifically, were those signaling an end times (as well as in his current day) siege, captivity and invasion to come onto the country of Israel. In prophetically addressing the last days house of Israel, his signs are also a warning for punishment that will soon come upon the nation of ‘Babylon’-U.S. and Israel’s ‘northern kingdom’ within.

In terms of the overriding theme applying to prophetic events in our current last days time period, I mentioned in Part 1 the central theme of Ezekiel’s message summarized as follows:

The God of the universe will be taking back his land and his inheritance for a coming heavenly Kingdom (under his Son Jesus Christ’s reign), and will destroy the counterfeit kingdom constructed by those who have rebelled against him and have persecuted his saints and remnant servants.

In this passage, I will address the parts of Ezekiel’s message related to the wickedness behind the construction and the maintenance of world Babylon’s counterfeit kingdom as well as roles of some of the key players who are involved. As such, major sections in this passage include:

  • The house of Israel’s wickedness
  • God’s punishment on the house of Israel’s corrupt vineyard

I will address each of these topics in its separate section below. Although I have addressed pieces of this storyline already on this site, the content and themes herein are those that are specific to what the Prophet Ezekiel tells us albeit with some additional supporting scripture as well.

As in Part 1, it is important to re-emphasize that God’s prophetic messages through Ezekiel to the people of the entire house of Israel have very significant meaning for those in ‘Babylon’-U.S. in addition to the country of Israel itself. This is not to discount the remaining worldwide house of Israel. But if you wonder why the focus is intently on the countries of Israel and ‘Babylon’-U.S., here is what ‘Jacob’s own enemy, the children of Esau, say prophetically about their intentions through Ezekiel:

…These two nations and these two countries shall be mine, and we will possess it; whereas the Lord was there… (Ez. 35:10)

This represents the counterfeit kingdom mentality of God’s enemies in attempting to be their own gods in charge of their own kingdom, especially in these locations where the house of Israel resides; that is, Israel and possibly its ‘northern kingdom’ in ‘Babylon’-U.S.

The house of Israel’s wickedness

Israel is its own worst enemy. In fact, the sinful, wicked, ungodly Judah of the pre-Babylonian invasion days is alive again today and is forecasted to be even worse. The Prophet Ezekiel in his vision foresaw that, compared with other nations around her, Israel has: Rebelled (more) against God’s laws and decrees; been more unruly; and not conformed to the “same standards” (Ez. 5:6-7). Similarly, Jerusalem, which carries God’s eternal name and should be the crown jewel of the nations as a strong pillar for the world to see is actually just the opposite. Through Isaiah we are told that last days Jerusalem “staggers” and that the once faithful, righteous city has become a “harlot” (Is. 1:21). The Prophet Micah foresaw that Israel’s leaders would build Zion with bloodshed (Mic. 3:10). Through the Prophet Ezekiel’s vision we learn:

…For the land is full of bloody crimes, and the city is full of violence. (Ez. 7:23)

Then say thou, Thus saith the Lord God, The city sheddeth blood in the midst of it, that her time may come, and maketh idols against herself to defile herself. (Ez. 22:3)

It is then not surprising that we learn that the prophetic event involving the Two Witnesses as described in the book of Revelation shows that they will be killed in last days Jerusalem that is “spiritually called Sodom and Egypt” (Rev. 11:8).

Last days Israel as a nation that has gone away from their God is a people about whom God prophetically says in scripture, “The whole head is sick, and the heart is faint.” Isaiah prophetically referred to his people “in that (future) day” and signaled his dismay with his people when he lamented:

The shew of their countenance doth witness against them; and they declare their sin as Sodom, they hide it not. Woe unto their soul! for they have rewarded evil unto themselves. (Is. 3:9)

According to biblical prophecy the current last days country of Israel will be shown to be just like Judah of old. There is nothing new. Israel has again rejected God’s law in favor of the other gods, idols, and lawlessness offered by the anti-Christ Chaldeans. God prophetically warned through the Prophets Isaiah and Ezekiel, respectively:

Therefore as the fire devoureth the stubble, and the flame consumeth the chaff, so their root shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as dust: because they have cast away the law of the Lord of hosts, and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel. (Is. 5:24)

And she hath changed my judgments into wickedness more than the nations, and my statutes more than the countries that are round about her: for they have refused my judgments and my statutes, they have not walked in them. (Ez. 5:6)

The following are examples from the book of Ezekiel with end times prophetic application related to Israel’s outright defiance and rebellion against God’s law. Note their arrogant sense of entitlement that is implied in the midst of abominations. Israel’s disobedience as follows is directly associated with their secret pledges to foreign gods:

Wherefore say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Ye eat with the blood, and lift up your eyes toward your idols, and shed blood: and shall ye possess the land? Ye stand upon your sword, ye work abomination, and ye defile every one his neighbour’s wife: and shall ye possess the land? (Ez. 33:25-26)

And they come unto thee as the people cometh, and they sit before thee as my people, and they hear thy words, but they will not do them: for with their mouth they shew much love, but their heart goeth after their covetousness. (Ez. 33:31)

Otherwise, in another relevant example of Judah’s rebellion in Jeremiah’s ancient day that has modern-day application, just prior to Babylon’s invasion God gave instructions to his people through King Zedekiah about his covenant with them for letting servant-slaves go every seventh year. After receiving this message his people initially obeyed. But shortly thereafter they rebelled and took back their slaves. This was a factor in bringing on God’s punishment. I will describe below that this kind of slavery at the hands of Israel’s Chaldean-serving leaders takes place in our modern-day.

When the corruption and immorality of current-day Israel is soon uncovered we are told in scripture that other nations will scoff at her. Today’s nation and people of Israel should consider itself warned just as Judah’s society of Jeremiah’s day in the sense that if they do not turn back to God very quickly then he is going to make them an “object of cursing” for all of the nations of the earth. This was forecasted by Ezekiel as follows:

…and thou hast caused thy days to draw near, and art come even unto thy years: Therefore have I made thee a reproach unto the heathen, and a mocking to all countries. Those that be near, and those that be far from thee, shall mock thee, which art infamous and much vexed. (Ez. 22:4-5)

The weight and scale of Israel’s wickedness that will be uncovered will make it very difficult for its people to find a way out of world Babylon’s imprisoning system that has already captured them in their transgressions and will subsequently turn against them to seek their destruction.

Israel’s corrupt leadership

The wickedness of the house of Israel, overall, in the last days has been well-documented on this site. I have described how evil has been organized and institutionalized because they have chosen to serve other gods. This means that many have made secret oaths and pledges to world Babylon’s Chaldeans who, in turn, happily accept them and proceed to hold them hostage and captive in their transgressions. The Chaldeans continue to offer them many “delicacies” of the world as a reward in return for their souls. These are all of the things Satan offered to Jesus:

Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them… (Matt. 4:9)

Many in our current day have “sold out” and taken up Satan on his offer. What cannot be understated when considering God’s message through Ezekiel is the involvement of the house of Israel’s own leaders, prophets, priests, elders, prophetesses, etc. in their rebellion against the God of Israel, Jesus Christ. This includes their collective abominations against him.

Modern-day Israel’s anti-Christ leadership and their minion army subscribe to the adversary’s tactics of taking others into bondage and have commandeered modern-day, high-tech-assisted means of oppressing and taking resistant targets captive via “mob” persecution techniques. In Biblical End Times, Volume 1, I showed that the house of Israel is one of four primary spiritual kingdom enemies who are aligned against the Lord’s Son of man and ‘Jacob’s anointed “flock” who are taken captive and persecuted in the last days.

In scripture we see that powers-that-be in the country of Israel itself cooperating with world Babylon’s Chaldeans are adversarial toward the Lord and his last days anointed. These are the same types who rejected Jesus in his day saying, “We have Abraham as our father.” Recall the Apostles’ chosen messenger Stephen’s words to the Jewish high priest and his council who could not understand the Apostles’ message of Jesus as their Messiah. Stephen told them, “Ye stiff-necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye” (Acts 7:51). This kind of resistance and rejection by Israel’s own leaders and priests occurs again in their alignment against the end times Son of man who I described in Biblical End Times, Volume 1. This is explained through the Prophet Ezekiel’s words given to him by God as follows:

Son of man, thy brethren, even thy brethren, the men of thy kindred, and all the house of Israel wholly, are they unto whom the inhabitants of Jerusalem have said, Get you far from the Lord: unto us is this land given in possession. (Ez. 11:15)

Son of man, they that inhabit those wastes of the land of Israel speak, saying, Abraham was one, and he inherited the land: but we are many; the land is given us for inheritance. (Ez. 33:24)

The arrogance of the house of Israel’s powerful leaders is especially demonstrated in the second verse to which God responds through Ezekiel about their ironic assumption of inheritance in the face of all of the iniquities that they commit. These are like the ancient ones God referred to through Isaiah who at the time God spread out his hands said, “Stand by thyself, come not near to me; for I am holier than thou” (Is. 65:5). In addition to several Proverbs, through Isaiah about this we are told, “Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!” (Is. 5:21).

We are given some additional examples of the house of Israel’s corrupt Chaldean leaders being aligned against God’s ‘Jacob’-Judah remnant. These “mountains” of Israel are the corrupt ones who include aforementioned rulers, prophets, elders, modern day Sanhedrin/Pharisee-types and their powerful underground army and network that is in place in these end times and conspires against their own righteous remnant. The following statement from God speaking against the “mountains” of Israel that includes their own enemy within their country and how they align against his anointed ‘Jacob’-Judah remnant:

Thus saith the Lord God; Because the enemy hath said against you, Aha, even the ancient high places are ours in possession: Therefore prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord God; Because they have made you desolate, and swallowed you up on every side, that ye might be a possession unto the residue of the heathen, and ye are taken up in the lips of talkers, and are an infamy of the people. (Ez. 36:2-3)

These country of Israel’s corrupt leaders in cooperation with their silent enemy alongside simply desire to be their own gods. Yet they will hypocritically and shamefully sell-out and cooperate with the adversary to divide God’s land and inheritance through a phony peace covenant they make that will serve to trade out their own citizens. They are rebellious and highly deceived. Is it any surprise that God also points to ‘Edom’/‘Esau’ as the people with whom Israel’s leaders are involved with in dividing his land in the last days? (Ez. 36:5).

Israel’s corrupt prophets and priests

It only stands to reason and follows that a thoroughly corrupt, sinful country of Israel in the last days will have equally corrupt priests and prophets. This is exactly what prophetic scripture tells us would be the case. The same conspiracy of global Babylon that Israel’s rulers are a part of is also the one that controls its priests and prophets. I referred earlier to the deliberate scattered state of the people of Israel that has continued over time as a function of global Babylon’s plan. Unfortunately, according to scripture Israel’s priests and prophets have aided and assisted in this plan against their own people. These are described as being like “foxes in the deserts.”

Through the Prophet Zechariah these ruthless priests are described as those who slay their servants and pity not those who they sell. These “shepherds” are also charged with ruling with “cruelty” and generally not protecting the flock who become as “prey” amidst the “residue of the heathen.” This includes not healing the sick, not “feeding” them, not searching for them, etc. God says further about these:

My flock became a prey, and my flock became meat to every beast of the field, because there was no shepherd, neither did my shepherds search for my flock, but the shepherds fed themselves, and fed not my flock. Seemeth it a small thing unto you to have eaten up the good pasture, but ye must tread down with your feet the residue of your pastures? and to have drunk of the deep waters, but ye must foul the residue with your feet? And as for my flock, they eat that which ye have trodden with your feet; and they drink that which ye have fouled with your feet. (Ez. 34:8, 18-19)

Whose possessors slay them, and hold themselves not guilty: And they that sell them say, Blessed be the Lord; for I am rich: And their own shepherds pity them not. (Zech. 11:5)

In Chapter 34 of Ezekiel God says, “I will seek that which was lost.” This points back to our Messiah, Jesus, who will ultimately gather his sheep. We have many instances of Jesus’ ministry for his servants and lost sheep that apply again in these last days. As a possible sign related to his scattered flock in the last days recall in Jesus’ day that, “when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd” (Matt. 9:36).

In the meantime, Israel’s shepherds and priests within its society merely perpetuate and parrot a highly controlled narrative, agenda and message in houses of worship. We can assume their messages include anti-Christ, anti-truth propaganda along with “cunningly devised fables” and “damnable heresies” as pointed to by the Apostle Peter in his day. Thus, these so-called shepherds in trusted positions who falsely represent piety are so wicked that they conspire to deny truth and deliberately lead others astray with lies so as to keep them in darkness. They shamelessly restrain truth and instead communicate false visions and lying divinations in misleading their flocks.

As in ancient times Israel’s last days paid-off priests and prophets are more than willing to participate in perpetuating lies. Money is a motivator just like it is for its leaders. In Ezekiel’s day God called out this corruption as a “den of robbers” in his temple; then, of course, when Jesus came he identified the same corruption and used this same term when he overturned the tables of the money changers in the temple. Jesus’ act had great meaning beyond just his current time and situation. You will recall that end times servant ‘Jacob’ will earn his redemption by turning his enemies’ altars into chalkstone. The problem of Israel’s last days priests and prophets is summarized by the following prophetic verses:

Thus saith the Lord concerning the prophets that make my people err, that bite with their teeth, and cry, Peace; and he that putteth not into their mouths…The heads thereof judge for reward, and the priests thereof teach for hire, and the prophets thereof divine for money: yet will they lean upon the Lord, and say, Is not the Lord among us? none evil can come upon us. (Mic. 3:5,11)

Her priests have violated my law, and have profaned mine holy things: they have put no difference between the holy and profane, neither have they shewed difference between the unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from my sabbaths, and I am profaned among them. (Ez. 22:26)

…for every one from the least even unto the greatest is given to covetousness, from the prophet even unto the priest every one dealeth falsely. (Jer. 8:10)

I already referred to God’s temple being defiled and the worship of false gods and idols by the people of Judah in Jeremiah’s day. God called out his people’s “detestable” practices. Today’s religious leaders in Israel alongside corrupt rulers also again engage in their own sinful, wicked behavior thereby setting a bad example for the “flock.” Like ancient leaders we are told that these have “shed the blood of the just in the midst of her” (Lam. 4:13). In the meantime, some scripture indicates that Israel’s holy leaders and shepherds engage in “whitewashing” so as to provide “cover” for other leaders’ wicked deeds and bad decision-making.

Deceived, vain visions

Many times through the Prophet Ezekiel God prophetically pointed to “vain visions,” lying, and blasphemy among those in the house of Israel, especially its prophets and priests. The Apostle Paul spoke of those who knew God but glorified him not, “And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things” (Rom. 1:23). This may remind you of Ezekiel’s visions of the priests’ abominations in the temple that I recounted earlier.

Indications are that some vain visions apply as they are used against the Lord’s last days anointed “small flock” remnant. In scripture we are told that the wicked house of Israel and its prophets are among other Chaldean kings and nations that see vain images of the Lord’s anointed remnant that “pollute” and mock them. In the ‘Daughter of Zion’s story we saw the wicked cooperating house of Israel’s Chaldean’s plan all along was to turn on the ‘Daughter of Zion’ herself after using her in a mocking, counterfeit queen role. This is due to supporting the global Chaldeans’ ongoing propaganda war against her bloodline.

In fact, we are told in a couple places how the global anti-Christ Chaldean cabal that includes Israel’s leaders “serve themselves” of this end times “small flock” remnant’s servants. God says, “For many nations and great kings shall serve themselves of them also…” (Jer. 25:14). Scripture tells us further that these occult leaders are such that their eyes desire to “gloat” on ‘Zion.’ In addressing both the ‘Daughter of Zion’ and the ‘Daughter of Jerusalem’ of his anointed remnant God says:

Thy prophets have seen vain and foolish things for thee: and they have not discovered thine iniquity, to turn away thy captivity; but have seen for thee false burdens and causes of banishment. (Lam. 2:14)

False prophets’ visions and abominations are kept secret by those adhering to silent oaths. Israel’s unwise, wicked, blasphemous priests and prophets believe that they can actually hide from God himself but God spoke through Ezekiel as follows:

And the Spirit of the Lord fell upon me, and said unto me, Speak; Thus saith the Lord; Thus have ye said, O house of Israel: for I know the things that come into your mind, every one of them. (Ez. 11:5)

Recall that a last days Ezekiel-type Son of man will perform prophetic warning signs for the house of Israel as I described in Part 1 to demonstrate that their only true sovereign Lord is speaking to them and that “a prophet (Ezekiel) has been among them.” The Son of man will warn because Israel’s priests seeking signs have rejected God’s words in our current day just as their predecessors rejected Jeremiah’s words.

Ezekiel’s visions of blasphemy and an occult kingdom

In Ezekiel’s own visions, God showed him the blasphemous acts of the last days ancient, “great” people and “mountains” of Israel. These are likely the ones possessing key bloodlines that have been traced to God’s covenant with his land and people. (Recall that the anti-Christ Chaldeans are very particular about following certain bloodlines and “families” over time).

Recall also that God’s hypocritical people blaspheme him, even in his own temple. God showed Ezekiel around his temple in his visions. He first brought Ezekiel to the inner gate, looking north, and to the “image of jealousy” (i.e. that provokes God to jealousy) in the north gate- likely an image of Baal.

God then showed Ezekiel additional abominations in the temple. To view these, Ezekiel had to “dig in the wall.” The meaning of going to the other side of this “wall” was to view these abominations that take place in secret, in the “chambers of imagery.” It is likely that only those who have taken oaths to worship foreign, false gods have the “privilege” to practice their abominations in these places. When Ezekiel went through the wall he commented:

So I went in and saw; and behold every form of creeping things, and abominable beasts, and all the idols of the house of Israel, portrayed upon the wall round about. (Ez. 8:10)

God then also showed Ezekiel a vision of women in the gate of the temple “weeping for Tammuz,” a fertility goddess; this was followed by another vision of twenty five men with their backs to the temple- an obvious sign of blasphemy- facing east and worshiping the sun. Keep in mind that Ezekiel’s prophetic visions such as this apply to today’s last days time period.

Israel’s occult kingdom queen as a symbol of its corruption

Perhaps there is no better symbolic figure in scripture to illustrate the wicked nature of last days Israel than its underground kingdom’s mafia queen and goddess. As you may be aware female goddess figures have very prominent roles in Babylonian or Egyptian occult mysticism. This queen named Aholibah in the book of Ezekiel represents Jerusalem because of her bloodline, albeit we are told that hers is a mingled bloodline. She has corrupt ‘family’ (i.e. sister-princesses, princes, etc.) who are altogether symbolic for the larger, mingled, disobedient house of Israel; it is one that is referred to many times as a corrupt vine in scripture.

Based on how God addresses the house of Israel in scripture it is likely that many who are loyal to the occult hold certain bloodlines from tribes carrying covenant promises, and thereby, through God’s order would otherwise be considered as candidates for his heavenly Kingdom royalty. The problem is that Aholibah and her family have instead “gone to Egypt,” thereby disobeying one of God’s ancient, yet timeless instructions to his people. In doing so, she is directly and personally aligned with the Pharaoh-‘Assyrian.’ Specifically, we are told in prophetic scripture (Ezekiel, Chapter 23) that as a symbol of last days corrupt ‘Jerusalem’ Aholibah has:

  • Engaged and interacted with powerful ‘Egyptian’/‘Assyrian’/‘Babylonian’ rulers and “princes”
  • Rejected God
  • Rejected her “husband” (likely a royal Judah companion)
  • Multiplied membership, developed a fiefdom, “waxed great” and has “succeeded to royalty” (as an occult-based queen of an anti-Christ Chaldean Gentile kingdom)
  • Defiled herself with foreign gods, idols, images, etc.
  • Committed whoredoms and lewdness
  • Caused ‘sons’ and ‘daughters’ (likely bloodline or ancient tribe member princes and princesses) to be sacrificed and “passed through the fire”
  • Caused innocent bloodshed

As an occult queen figure Aholibah’s profile and story is a parallel for the house of Israel’s alignment with the ‘Assyrian’s coalition that I will describe in Part 3. Given her wicked alliances and rejection of the God of Israel Aholibah is naturally aligned in supporting the coming Anti-Christ and his kings because they will come directly out of the same occult-based system, will speak their same strange language, and will use their same strange symbolism. The Prophet Daniel describes at least one of these coming kings as one of “fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences” (Dan. 8:23).

In the last days spiritual kingdom war, being on the anti-Christ Chaldean kingdom’s side means being aligned against and participating in the persecution of Jesus Christ’s end times Spirit of truth and his righteous remnant servants. So Aholibah who plays Israel’s kingdom queen will be aligned against her own remnant people. She will find herself on the wrong side of the war. Her alliances are indicative that even within Israel there is a kingdom versus kingdom war.

Aholibah’s story is a symbolic, representative ‘picture’ of the larger house of Israel that defiles God and finds itself on the wrong side of the last days battle waged by his anointed ‘Jacob’-Judah remnant servant army who, ironically, are silently battling the anti-Christ Chaldeans on Israel’s behalf. As described above all Chaldean occult-based fiefdoms align based on one factor: They are anti-Christ; they are on Satan’s side in the spiritual kingdom war. The practical manifestation of deceived Israel being a part of this organization is that they are associated with the persecution of their own righteous brethren by means of typical anti-Christ Chaldean weapons of lies, deceit, slander, taunting, mocking, harassment, etc.

When the Chaldeans’ collective atrocities and bloodshed are revealed the house of Israel will be ashamed of the foreign gods in which they trusted and for not recognizing and trusting in their Messiah, Jesus Christ, and his commands. They will be made desolate and will “bear the sins of their idols” at the time of God’s punishment.

God’s punishment on the house of Israel’s corrupt vineyard

This wicked vine of God’s people begins at the top. In fact, we are told that God’s sword will be upon “all the princes of Israel.” Recall in Part 1 Ezekiel’s sign of Israel’s prince attempting to escape under the wall when trouble comes and that he will be caught and brought to ‘Babylon’ at a time when God “spreads his net over him.” This will be after he traded out the King of ‘Babylon’ and “went to Egypt” (the Pharaoh-‘Assyrian’) for help, thereby betraying God and what was to be a peace agreement for his people. (Note: both of the terms ‘Pharaoh” and “Assyrian” as given in Ezekiel, Chapter 31, address the same person). I will address the ‘Pharaoh’-‘Assyrian’ and his last days kingdom in Part 3 of this series).

We are also told at this time that this Israeli prince’s “troops” will be scattered, likely followed by the sword. These are the ones about whom it is said, “every one were in thee to their power to shed blood” (Ez. 22:6). These will be this prince’s underground Chaldean mafia network partners who were also leaders in some form in the country of Israel. So God’s policy of returning the favor for their wickedness applies again here. God tells Ezekiel about these leaders in the last days:

Cry and howl, son of man: for it shall be upon my people, it shall be upon all the princes of Israel: terrors by reason of the sword shall be upon my people: smite therefore upon thy thigh. (Ez. 21:12)

And thou, profane wicked prince of Israel, whose day is come, when iniquity shall have an end… (Ez. 21:25)

When this event happens, it will be a major, worldwide news story. These princes and priests are likely highly recognizable leaders in the world, especially within the country of Israel, and include “great men”; they are those who enter into their “secret chambers” as members of the secret underground Chaldean royal family of which Aholibah has been set up as their queen figure. Thus, they commit all of the aforementioned abominations and blasphemous acts against Jesus Christ in this passage.

The house of Israel’s prophets and priests exposed

Corrupt current-day prophets who claim that visions like those of Ezekiel are still for times that are “afar off” give false hope to the flock who seek their guidance. They perpetuate aforementioned “visions of peace” when there will be no peace. Also applying in a last days context we are told, “They have belied the Lord, and said, It is not he; neither shall evil come upon us; neither shall we see sword nor famine” (Jer. 5:12). God says Judah’s and Israel’s last days prophets will become as “wind.” Also directly applicable for this time God told Ezekiel:

Son of man, what is that proverb that ye have in the land of Israel, saying, The days are prolonged, and every vision faileth? Tell them therefore, Thus saith the Lord God; I will make this proverb to cease, and they shall no more use it as a proverb in Israel; but say unto them, The days are at hand, and the effect of every vision. (Ez. 12:22-23)

And mine hand shall be upon the prophets that see vanity, and that divine lies: they shall not be in the assembly of my people, neither shall they be written in the writing of the house of Israel, neither shall they enter into the land of Israel; and ye shall know that I am the Lord God. (Ez. 13:9)

The country of Israel’s priests,’ prophets’ and others’ lying ways and corrupt deeds will be uncovered and revealed as these coincide with the internal unraveling of its entire society that I discuss below.  The last days anti-Christ kingdom will struggle to uphold its occult narrative and secret oppressive “wall” that God says he will tear down and destroy to free his servants. God says that the wall of ‘Zion’ will “lament” and that it “shall fall” (Ez. 13:11). Corrupt priests and prophets at this time will not escape shame and punishment. God says, ‘Woe’ to these “foolish prophets.” Recall that they are priests who “teach for hire” and prophets who “divine for money” (Mic. 3:7).

Can you imagine their shame when their deeds are uncovered for the world to see? Recall from Jeremiah that priests will be “horrified” and the prophets “appalled” (Jer. 2:9). They will have participated in the “tongue and doings” against the Lord that causes Judah and Jerusalem to fall. Their shame alone that will replace their prior pride and arrogance will be a true form of punishment in of itself. As you might expect, these men who were supposedly in the business of piety will completely lose their credibility as messengers of God. They will no longer be able to serve in this capacity. The following verses show this:

Mischief shall come upon mischief, and rumour shall be upon rumour; then shall they seek a vision of the prophet; but the law shall perish from the priest, and counsel from the ancients. (Ez. 7:26)

Therefore night shall be unto you, that ye shall not have a vision; and it shall be dark unto you, that ye shall not divine; and the sun shall go down over the prophets, and the day shall be dark over them. (Mic. 3:6)

In addition to their shame, God says that he will feed these priests and prophets with wormwood and will make them drink the “water of gall.” Through Ezekiel God says about their wall of lies and falsehood, “I will even rend it with a stormy wind in my fury; and there shall be an overflowing shower in mine anger, and great hailstones in my fury to consume it” (Ez. 13:13). They will sit on the ground, be cursed, “cast up dust,” suffer calamity upon calamity and God says that he “will bring evil on them” in the Day of the Lord. Like others in Israel these will suffer from facets of the Lord’s quiet, behind-the-scenes punishment first and then the “sword” of war will come upon them.

Demolition of the ‘Daughter of Zion’s “family”– a queen bereaved of a royal family

I mentioned in prior passages on this site that the ‘Daughter of Zion’ will find herself “sold for nothing” and placed in captivity in the last days. At some point she will recognize that she is on the wrong side of the aforementioned “wall” of oppression that the Chaldeans have constructed. This is the wall that God says that he will tear down on her behalf. In laments and prayers that are David– and Jeremiah-like, the ‘Daughter of Zion’ appeals to God. She recognizes and repents of her transgressions. God says in scripture that his anger will cease from her and that he will end her captivity and will ultimately accept her by covenant.

Her story is part of a bigger picture of a sovereign God keeping his promises to his covenant people and of the perfect grace received through Jesus Christ for those who call on him. Recall that the ‘Daughter of Zion’ is a final compilation of many biblical figures including Israel’s famous mothers and their signs and lessons in scripture. She is at least one figure who might remind us of: the prodigal child; the one lost sheep; the lost coin; etc. in scripture. Perhaps she is saved to fulfill Jesus’ words to his father again in the end days, “I have lost none that you gave me” (Jn. 6:39, 17:12). Also, Jesus’ following words about himself, the ‘Son of man,’ may apply again in these end times: “For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost” (Lk. 19:10).

As an indication of her desolate situation the ‘Daughter of Zion’ is left like a “cottage in a vineyard” (Is. 1:8). Scripture also refers to her several times as a mother without children or as a queen without princes. As described above, she refers to herself as one who “never bore a child,” which is literally the case, but this is also symbolic of a lack of a last days royal Judah-family line around her including a lack of the “sons of Zion.”

In the midst of the spiritual kingdom war prior to the Lord’s Kingdom to come the ‘Daughter of Zion’s travailing and birth pains will be a clear sign of a raging spiritual kingdom war under the surface that will soon become apparent to all in the world. In fact, the highly tumultuous environment in which she travails is strongly associated with symbolic and prophetic examples in scripture about bereavement, the inability to deliver, or a lack of strength in giving birth. Last days Israel’s children who are slow to be spiritually “birthed” is reflective of God’s promise to Eve in the Garden that she (in part, as a foreshadow of the last days ‘Daughter of Zion’) would have “sorrows” in bringing forth.

At the time Israel’s travailing holy, royal mother is heavily persecuted herself she will look for sons to “guide her” or “take her by the hand” (Is. 51:18). She will look for those who should be her children yet these are described as “desolate” themselves. As an example, God calls for end times ‘Jacob’ to be “surrounded” by his enemies. Scripture shows that ‘Zion’s royal family including (Judah) princes are taken into captivity and persecuted. They become victims of a larger, all-out assault on God’s inheritance by the anti-Christ Chaldeans.

The overriding reason ‘Zion’ will not find help from her own “family” is because, with the exception of ‘Jacob,’ it is a corrupt one that comes under judgment. The royal family that she thought was in place for God’s Kingdom becomes “stripped” and decimated. This family she directly presided over in the Chaldeans’ underground occult kingdom will be shown to have been an anti-Christ line of Israel, very likely including those who should have been a royal Judah remnant. These will not have known and served Jesus as the Messiah. Scripture ultimately tells us that Zion’s “gates are desolate” and that her princes become “like deer that find no pasture” (Lam. 1:6). Her kings and princes are left “among the Gentiles” and the “law is no more.” ‘Zion’ is told, “forget also thine own people, and thy father’s house” (Ps. 45:10).

We are given a couple of prophetic stories in scripture about the fate of this condemned family. Both are found in the book of Ezekiel. In Chapter 19, Ezekiel refers to the ‘Daughter of Zion’ being “like a vine in thy blood” who is among young lions and cubs. Her royal princes are described as like being “strong rods for scepters of them that bare rule.” But we are told that ‘Zion’s “tree” is plucked up in fury by a fire that breaks her tree’s branches and destroys her fruit.

In Chapter 17, in what appears to be another prophetic vision of this same royal family, she is described as an “eagle with great wings and many feathers.” Hers is a vine initially planted in “good soil” by “great waters” so that it might yield fruit as a “goodly vine.” However, in contrast with the other eagle and vine in this same chapter that is of low stature, yet brings forth branches, ‘Zion’s is described as becoming “rebellious.” The decimation of the “vintage” of her forest is the event likely referred to in the Psalms and elsewhere in scripture as the Lord breaking down the “cedars of Lebanon.”

Prophecies of internal destruction in the last days country of Israel

I have shown previously how the ‘Daughter of Zion’s, Israel’s Queen’s, personal life and travails are a leading indicator for the larger house of Israel. As she and her “family” vine will be made desolate, so will Israel’s larger “forest.” We have indications in scripture of this forest being largely burned up, with just a small remnant saved. This first happens largely as a result of internal destructive forces that come upon the country of Israel prior to external forces placing it under siege and invading.

In parallel with the “evil from the north” spoken of by Jeremiah, Ezekiel communicated this same message. He referred to this evil as an end times “scourge” that will arrive at Israel and upon its people as a spiritual tool of God’s judgment that will cause great confusion and ultimately shame on its country and institutions because of its peoples’ collective deeds that become exposed. While even God’s “sword” of punishment that I describe in more detail in Part 3 can represent such an internal affliction it is possible that the supernatural nature and force of this affliction may be represented in Ezekiel’s vision where he saw “a whirlwind came out of the north, a great cloud, and a fire infolding itself and a brightness was about it, and out of the midst thereof as the colour of amber, out of the midst of the fire” (Ez. 1:4).

Perhaps it is this supernatural whirlwind and fire indicated in Ezekiel’s visions where we are given clear indication of the anti-Christ spirit within Israel’s “forest” in these last days where wood and trees are symbols for Israel’s society. For the house of Israel, Ezekiel’s Parable of the Forest Fire (Chapter 20) tells of a fire that will devour from south to north and represents an “evil” affliction that will come onto Israel’s whole land and its people. God tells Ezekiel who I described lives in a land to the north, “Son of man, set thy face toward the south, and drop thy word toward the south, and prophesy against the forest of the south field” (Ez. 20:46). This parable foretold of destruction that would first come from within Israel due to its foreign god-related corruption and associated wicked practices.

Similarly, Ezekiel’s Parable of the Vine Tree (Chapter 15) discusses how those in the house of Israel will be going from one “fire” to another blaze that will devour all of the “wood” among them due to their “trespass” against the Lord. In a point of interpretation for both of these parables the symbolic consumption of the “forest” of the people of Israel that comes onto its land is related to foreign gods; we are told that it will “devour” from the south to north implying foreign (i.e. Egyptian) gods from the south as to its origins. However, it also represents the silent evil that comes from the north as described through both Jeremiah and Ezekiel because world Babylon’s Kingdom is where the worship of these foreign gods and their associated practices has been centralized and institutionalized. Thus, the north is where this spiritual “scourge” will arrive from and cause internal destruction.

Foreign god practices are merely part of world Babylon’s system. It is a balance-of-opposites-driven matrix with a dialectic system built-in that has been designed to intentionally cause silent, internal destruction of societies by gathering a critical mass of lawless minions artificially manufacturing issues of controversy and then pitting opposing belief systems against each other.

As I mentioned at the beginning of this passage, due to serving world Babylon’s occult system, last days Jerusalem is referred to in scripture as a “city of bloodshed.” It is also referred to as a “cooking pot” due to its peoples’ foreign god-based wickedness and sins. In his punishment God likens gathering his people to Jerusalem as being drawn into a furnace to be “melted” as a final testing of faith. Both furnace and cooking pot analogies for God’s purging process are described through Ezekiel below:

As they gather silver, and brass, and iron, and lead, and tin, into the midst of the furnace, to blow the fire upon it, to melt it; so will I gather you in mine anger and in my fury, and I will leave you there, and melt you. Yea, I will gather you, and blow upon you in the fire of my wrath, and ye shall be melted in the midst thereof. (Ez. 22:20-21)

Heap on wood, kindle the fire, consume the flesh, and spice it well, and let the bones be burned. Then set it empty upon the coals thereof, that the brass of it may be hot, and may burn, and that the filthiness of it may be molten in it, that the scum of it may be consumed. (Ez. 24:10-11)

God will give his people a chance to be delivered and cleansed of their rampant sins but it is clear in scripture that not all will successfully come through the purging process. God prophetically says to his people, “thou wast not purged” (Ez. 24:13). He also says about this through the Prophet Amos: “I have overthrown some of you, as God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah, and ye were as a firebrand plucked out of the burning: yet have ye not returned unto me” (Am. 4:11). Israel’s continuing stubbornness and rebellion is the reason behind various punishments that will continue to come against them in the last days that ultimately lead to the dissolution of its society.

~

In conclusion, put simply, the anti-Christ wickedness of the house of Israel will become so bad in these last days that God will have no choice but to destroy this underground, hidden kingdom that enslaves, persecutes and oppresses others worldwide.

In Part 3, I will address a larger part of world Babylon’s kingdom as it is described through Ezekiel. It is the one that both ‘Babylon’-U.S. and the country of Israel will attempt to run to for help in their troubles in the last days, albeit to no avail. The entire kingdom of world Babylon will also eventually be brought down and overturned since we know that those who inordinately punish the Lord’s faithful servants will suffer the same fate.

So, what will be left? The good news will be the establishment of God’s own inheritance and people in his land. I will describe unique aspects of this event in Part 4 as these are shown through Ezekiel’s words.
