In Parts 1 and 2 of this series, I addressed prophetic topics that we are given through the Prophet Ezekiel as they pertain to the following central theme of his message for our last days time period:
The God of the universe will be taking back his land and his inheritance for a coming heavenly Kingdom (under his Son Jesus Christ’s reign), and will destroy the counterfeit kingdom constructed by those who have rebelled against him and have persecuted his saints and remnant servants.
To this point in this series, I have addressed the specific prophetic warning signs given through Ezekiel to his people about God’s coming judgment. I have also addressed the underlying wickedness that exists in the house of Israel’s own anti-Christ Chaldean societies and its corrupt leadership that will be a reason for God’s judgment in the last days.
In the next two passages, I will address the final supporting pieces of the central storyline above as these are provided in Ezekiel’s message. The final chapters of this story include: the destruction of the world Babylon’s Egyptian god kingdom (Part 3); and the installation of God’s own inheritance in his land (Part 4). As such, in this passage, I will address components of ‘Egypt’ within world Babylon, its primary leader, and its ultimate demise within the following sections:
- The Pharaoh-‘Assyrian’
- The Pharaoh-‘Assyrian’ and his coalition aligned against the Lord’s anointed remnant
- Today’s continuation of the ancient ‘Jacob’ versus ‘Esau’ rivalry
- The defeat of the Pharaoh-‘Assyrian’ and his kingdom
I have mentioned in prior passages that in these end times, the terms ‘Assyria’ and ‘Egypt’ can virtually apply, both symbolically and globally as fiefdoms under the same kingdom of Babylon that will soon align under the person who is the Anti-Christ and his international kings. In many cases in scripture, the terms ‘Assyria’/’Egypt’/’Babylon’ are used for kingdoms within world Babylon’s vast network in our current last days time period; this is one international kingdom overall that has likely converged via an online platform and digital communications network through uniform coding in language and messages and by using uniform, occult-based symbolism. This has been a deliberately orchestrated, carefully constructed convergence by Satanic world leaders with a goal of ever-moving toward a current day ‘Tower of Babel’ scenario; that is, a one world government and new world order.
Meanwhile, recall the repeating pattern from ancient times of God instructing his people not to turn to Egypt or Assyria in their time of need. The following is one of God’s ancient warnings regarding this:
Woe to them that go down to Egypt for help; and stay on horses, and trust in chariots, because they are many; and in horsemen, because they are very strong; but they look not unto the Holy One of Israel, neither seek the Lord! (Is. 31:1)
But this is exactly what the faithless house of Israel (leaders and people) will do again in these end times. I have already warned about this foolishness because the anti-Christ Chaldeans as a global organization is one that the house of Israel, especially the country of Israel, believes is its friend. But it will actually turn out to be their worst enemy once this kingdom and their leader arises more transparently in the Day of the Lord. As a result of their disobedience and blindness, Israel will be persecuted by the Chaldeans who I have already described as God’s primary instrument for punishment in these last days. I have previously addressed details of God’s coming judgment on Israel in Part 2 of this series and in prior passages on this site.
The Pharaoh-‘Assyrian’
The Pharaoh-’Assyrian,’ called as such because he is referred to with both of these terms by the Prophet Ezekiel (Chapter 31), unofficially presides over a multitude of ‘nations’ in these last days as a highly significant king in the underground Chaldean “mob” world. His modern-day power is similar to that of ancient kings of Assyria who made desolate many nations and countries. It is apparent that much of his power and influence is derived from Middle Eastern and northern African nations and peoples who are aligned against the God of Israel, Jesus Christ.
Through the Prophet Ezekiel we learn more about the end times Pharaoh-‘Assyrian’s underground kingdom. He is initially made very great by God. He is symbolized as a great, ancient tree with branches. Speaking of him God reflects, “All the trees of Eden that were in the Garden of God envied him” (Ez. 31:9). In these last days the vast loyal “waters” of various nations and people groups allow him to grow into a kingdom that makes him great. We are told that the Pharaoh-‘Assyrian’ “lies in the midst of his rivers” and calls them his own.
The following is a compilation of additional attributes of the end times Pharaoh-’Assyrian’ that we are given through Ezekiel. These show how he wields tremendous broad-based worldwide support among people groups and nations as a ruler in the unconventional, silent kingdom war. We are told prophetically about the Pharaoh-’Assyrian’ who is referred to metaphorically as a great tree:
He was a cedar in Lebanon with fair branches, and with a shadowing shroud, and of an high stature; and his top was among the thick boughs. (Ez. 31:3)
The waters made him great, the deep set him up on high. (Ez. 31:4)
His height was exalted above all the trees of the field, and his boughs were multiplied, and his branches became long. (Ez. 31:5)
He was fair in his greatness, in the length of his branches: for his root was by great waters. (Ez. 31:7)
These are certainly attributes of a global leader who has important ancient bloodlines and wields tremendous power and influence.
The Pharaoh-‘Assyrian’ and his coalition aligned against the Lord’s anointed remnant
The Pharaoh-‘Assyrian’ along with “his servants, and his princes, and all his people” is the foremost leader of the last days version of the adversary’s ancient, longstanding worldwide war versus Israel and ‘Jacob’s holy, anointed “small flock” remnant that continues to take place behind-the-scenes. He is anti-Christ and anti-Israel, overall. We are told that he even “blasphemes God.”
In the book of Zephaniah we are told that the ‘Assyrian’ will “uncover the cedar work.” Through Isaiah we learn that the ‘Assyrian’ is interested in “cutting down the tall cedars of Lebanon and its “choice fir trees” (Is. 37:24). In this war of the forests, so to speak, these verses likely refer to his pursuit of the Lord’s last days anointed ‘Jacob’-Judah “small flock” remnant with royal bloodlines.
Along these lines, continuing from the ‘Assyrian’s profile above scripture describes him as becoming a “monster in the sea” and that he “troubles the waters” and “fouls the rivers.” This is likely a result of him creating some kind of division, controversy or infighting among the “waters” of the nations who are part of his vast underground army network. This conflict could be related to his decision to initiate a silent war of persecution against the Lord’s anointed remnant. Scripture tells us that he becomes a “staff of reed” to the house of Israel (Ez. 29:6).
Through his worldwide underground secretive network the ‘Assyrian’ leads an international ‘army’ of many nations that are anti-house of Israel and anti-‘Jacob’-Judah remnant and persecute them in the silent, behind-the-scenes spiritual kingdom war. We are told that he “lifts up his staff against ‘Jacob’ after the “manner of Egypt” (Is. 10:24). “Manner of Egypt” here implies occult-based captivity and bondage. The ‘Assyrian’ is among the lions who first “devour” Israel in the last days including ‘Jacob’s Judah-centric “small flock” residing in ‘Babylon’-U.S.
In prophetic scripture there is a group of conspiring, cooperating nations and peoples that are supportive of, complicit with, and “uphold” the ‘Assyrian’s control. These include: ‘Egypt,’ ‘Philistia,’ ‘Tyre,’ ‘Zidon,’ ‘Ammon,’ ‘Moab,’ ‘Elam’ and ‘Edom.’ The most common prophetic interpretation of the combined alliance of these nations is portrayed in their involvement in a coming attack on the country of Israel in a conventional warfare sense. To be sure, this kind of invasion and war directed by world Babylon will happen in the last days. Yet the equally important, untold story is the ongoing, silent spiritual kingdom war and quiet destruction of God’s house of Israel’s vineyard inheritance including his anointed ‘Jacob’-Judah remnant bloodlines residing in ‘Babylon’-U.S.
These adversarial nations in the ‘Assyrian’s alliance as seen in certain parts of prophetic scripture are many times grouped together. For example, we are told that these nations aligned against the Lord’s anointed have been: “confederate” and have “taken crafty counsel” (Psalm 83); “despise them round about them” (Ez. 28:26); and have “served themselves” (Jeremiah, Chapter 25) of them. As a result, scripture tells us that the Lord has a “controversy” with these nations and their kings because of their behind-the-scenes unconventional persecution of his servants.
So the theme and pattern of world powers’ alignment against the comparatively tiny ‘Jacob’-Judah “small flock” remnant applies to all participating countries in this alliance. It is also not surprising that ancient brotherly rival ‘Esau’/‘Edom’ who I discuss below is found as part of this collective adversary in Psalm 83 and again in Jeremiah, Chapter 25. This is an organized coalition likely facilitated and supported by underground military intelligence cooperation that oversee and support a longstanding psychological operation and holy war against ‘Jacob’s remnant. They will likely have backed and participated in the longstanding, underground Chaldean Star Wars-like kingdom war, along with its occult-narrative and its supporting worldwide propaganda. In Part 2, I spoke about the possibility of vain images related to those in this small flock remnant being a part of this wicked cabal’s mocking, propaganda-based war against them. In modern times they have likely used a backdoor online digital communications platform and network to facilitate their activities in this war.
For each of these nations and people groups likely supporting the Pharaoh-‘Assyrian’ in the end times spiritual kingdom war, below I present the current day country of origin generally represented followed by a prophetic verse in scripture to demonstrate the strong anti-Judah, anti-‘Jacob’ remnant theme that is observed across this alliance.
Egypt (including affiliation in the U.S.): Egypt shall be a desolation, and Edom shall be a desolate wilderness, for the violence against the children of Judah, because they have shed innocent blood in their land. (Joel 3:19)
Philistia (Gaza): Thus saith the Lord God; Because the Philistines have dealt by revenge, and have taken vengeance with a despiteful heart, to destroy it for the old hatred… (Ez. 25:15)
Tyre (Lebanon): Son of man, because that Tyrus hath said against Jerusalem, Aha, she is broken that was the gates of the people: she is turned unto me: I shall be replenished, now she is laid waste. (Ez. 26:2)
Zidon (Lebanon): And there shall be no more a pricking brier unto the house of Israel, nor any grieving thorn of all that are round about them, that despised them; and they shall know that I am the Lord God. (Ez. 28:24)
Ammon (Jordan): And say unto the Ammonites…Because thou saidst, Aha, against my sanctuary, when it was profaned; and against the land of Israel, when it was desolate; and against the house of Judah, when they went into captivity. (Ez. 25:3)
Elam (Persia, Iran): Ye have seen also the breaches of the city of David, that they are many: and ye gathered together the waters of the lower pool. And ye have numbered the houses of Jerusalem, and the houses have ye broken down to fortify the wall. Ye made also a ditch between the two walls for the water of the old pool: but ye have not looked unto the maker thereof, neither had respect unto him that fashioned it long ago. (Is. 22:9-11)
Moab (including affiliation in the U.S.): …Because that Moab and Seir do say, Behold, the house of Judah is like unto all the heathen. (Ez. 25:8)
It is clear in scripture that all of these nations, most of which include peoples originating from “all the coasts of Palestine (or Philistia),” will be cooperating directly with ‘Esau’ in selling, “turning over the captivity,” scattering, plundering and making desolate God’s anointed ‘Jacob’-Judah remnant servants. In particular, Gaza is charged with handing over captive Israel to Edom (Am. 1:6). Elam (Persia) and its kings are also directly implicated whereas the Lord says that “in the latter days” he will “bring again the captivity of Elam” (Jer. 49:39). At the same time, it is important to understand that ‘Jacob’s anointed remnant goes into captivity and is plundered primarily in ‘Babylon’-U.S.
The Pharaoh-‘Assyrian’s aspirations to conquer the world
After his silent, behind-the-scenes campaign against ‘Jacob’s “small flock” remnant the ‘Assyrian’ will emerge more transparently as one who invades and plunders their homeland. In prior passages, I described end times siege conditions followed by military coalition-based invasions that will first come onto the countries of the U.S. and Israel precisely because these two countries are home to the largest populations of the world’s house of Israel. In his invasion against ‘Babylon’-U.S., a “hypocritical nation,” the ‘Assyrian’ will be used by God as the “rod of (his) anger.” The ‘Assyrian’ will then use his vast power to set his sights beyond his original mission against last days ‘Ephraim’-‘Samaria’ and ‘Babylon’-U.S. He will set his sights on the country of Israel and say:
Shall I not, as I have done unto Samaria and her idols, so do to Jerusalem and her idols? (Is. 10:11)
Interestingly, the meaning of ‘Samaria’ and ‘Jerusalem’ in this verse appears to represent the same two “nations” that ‘Esau’/‘Edom’ refers to in its own ambitions to conquer (i.e. Israel’s end times ‘northern kingdom’ within the U.S. as well as the country of Israel). (I discuss ‘Esau’ in particular below). But ‘Esau’ appears to serve alongside the ‘Assyrian’ who will emerge more transparently as a world leader and then desire to conquer the entire world (i.e. “to destroy and cut off nations not a few” (Is. 10:7). In this line of scripture he boasts that his hand finds the “riches of the people” and that as one who gathers eggs, he gathers “all the earth.” The ‘Assyrian’ will become proud, and will even say:
…I will go up, I will cover the whole earth; I will destroy the city and inhabitants thereof. (Jer. 46:8)
Later in this passage, I discuss how the ‘Assyrian’ will eventually be exposed in the unconventional spiritual kingdom war because of the Lord’s fighting and supernatural protection of his remnant people. In this war’s outcome the ugly truth behind the ‘Assyrian’s power will be revealed.
Today’s continuation of the ancient ‘Jacob’ versus ‘Esau’ rivalry
‘Esau’ is clearly a part of world Babylon’s kingdom adversary that is aligned against the Lord and his anointed in these last days. Recall that the ancient people of Esau who became Edom (Idumea) remained aligned against Israel. They would not allow Moses’ people to pass through their land in the wilderness. Later, they fought against the house of King David. In an indication of this longstanding war from the days of David we are told that Edom “revolted from under the hand of Judah unto this day” (2 Ki. 8:22).
But this war goes back to the very beginning, a rivalry between two twin brothers, sons of Isaac and Rebekah. Esau gave away his birthright to Jacob and then went the other direction from the house of Israel, so to speak, in taking wives from Egypt and having family in Edom. This was the origin of one enemy nation in the spiritual kingdom war that still rages in these end times.
You may wonder how an ancient brotherly rivalry might still exist in these last days. Above, I alluded to the anti-Christ Chaldean adversary and its Satanic world rulers having long been obsessed with bloodlines carrying forward from ancient times and the tracking thereof. For this reason, although many bible prophecy teachers will remind you that ‘Edom’ (and other nations for that matter) no longer exists keep in mind that it is the people groups or ‘nations’ of people that remain important.
The following is a passage from the Prophet Obadiah about this ancient battle as it applies to the end times in which ‘Esau’ is directly implicated. Through Obadiah ‘Esau’ is described as prideful, powerful and yet deceived by his own confederacy. He sets himself up as a (corrupt) “eagle” among the stars. As a part of the kingdom adversary that comes against end times ‘Jacob’ and his remnant including the “children of Judah” we are told about ‘Esau’:
For thy violence against thy brother Jacob shame shall cover thee, and thou shalt be cut off for ever. In the day that thou stoodest on the other side, in the day that the strangers carried away captive his forces, and foreigners entered into his gates, and cast lots upon Jerusalem, even thou wast as one of them. But thou shouldest not have looked on the day of thy brother in the day that he became a stranger; neither shouldest thou have rejoiced over the children of Judah in the day of their destruction; neither shouldest thou have spoken proudly in the day of distress. Thou shouldest not have entered into the gate of my people in the day of their calamity; yea, thou shouldest not have looked on their affliction in the day of their calamity, nor have laid hands on their substance in the day of their calamity. (Ob. 10-13)
In speaking about his end times judgment on ‘Edom’ because of their “rejoicing” over the last days desolation of his heritage God points to ‘Edom’s “perpetual hatred” and “anger” (Ezekiel, Chapter 35). Through the Prophet Amos we are told that Edom “kept his wrath forever” and continued to “pursue his brother with the sword” (Am. 1:11) as it still applies in these end times. He also points to Edom’s bloodshed of Israel via the “power of the sword” at the time when their iniquity will have come to an end. In fact, the “tabernacles of Edom” are listed first among the aforementioned grouping of nations and people groups in the well-known prophetic Psalm 83 who are described as taking “crafty counsel” against God’s anointed servants in the end times. They are confederate kingdom enemies I describe herein who cause ‘Jacob’s “small flock” remnant to become desolate and “swallowed up” as alluded to by Obadiah above. God points to Edom’s vengeance on the house of Judah. The Prophet Joel also refers to last days ‘Edom’s “violence against the children of Judah” (Joel 3:19). The brotherly war continues to this day.
When God said, “Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated,” it is apparent in several places in scripture that this has eternal implications and still remains highly relevant. Through the Prophet Malachi God calls Esau the people against whom he has “indignation forever.” Clearly, last days ‘Esau’/‘Edom’ are a part of the global-based anti-Christ Chaldean organization that is aligned against God’s plan of establishing his own kingdom and inheritance. God says to end times ‘Edom,’ “Thus with your mouth ye have boasted against me, and have multiplied your words against me: I have heard them” (Ez. 35:13).
In addition to persecuting God’s remnant it appears that modern-day ‘Esau’ includes those who are at least partly controlling the land of Israel for their own interests and ambitions. In their rebellion against the inheritance and “mountains” of the house of Israel as it applies prophetically I described in Part 2 the last days ‘Idumea’ declares about its own aspirations:
These two nations and these two countries shall be mine, and we will possess it; whereas the Lord was there. (Ez. 35:10)
In its context, and given the totality of prophetic scripture, it is safe to assume that one of these countries referred to in this verse is Israel. Furthermore, we are told in scripture that last days ‘Edom’ is among those who say, “Aha, even the ancient high places are ours in possession,” and also that ‘Esau’ defiles and plunders the holy land of Israel and “casts it out for a prey” (Ez. 36:2,5).
If we make the assumption that we are living in the last days as they are referred to in prophetic scripture then we can logically infer that governing and controlling factions of ‘Edom’ are currently present in the country of Israel. This will not last long. At the beginning of this passage, I noted the overriding theme of how the Lord will be returning to re-claim his land and people.
The defeat of the Pharaoh-‘Assyrian’ and his kingdom’s demise
I described above how the powerful and mighty ‘Assyrian’ will become boastful and arrogant because of his significant victories and power gained in the last days. We are told that he “rises like a flood” to “cover the earth” and to conquer entire nations and their peoples. At this time God says, “I shall bring thy destruction among the nations, into the countries which thou hast not known. Yea, I will make many people amazed at thee” (Ez. 32:9-10). Any victories of his will merely be the result of his being used by God for God’s own purposes. He will nevertheless remain defiant and not acknowledge God as the source of his strength and power. God recognizes this and we know that he never especially likes boasting and rejoicing over the destruction of his people. We learn about the ‘Assyrian’s eventual demise and fall by God’s supernatural forces including his “sword” in the spiritual kingdom war as follows:
The Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, saith; Behold, I will punish the multitude of No, and Pharaoh, and Egypt, with their gods, and their kings; even Pharaoh, and all them that trust in him. (Jer. 46:25)
For through the voice of the Lord shall the Assyrian be beaten down, which smote with a rod. (Is. 30:31)
It will be the Pharaoh-‘Assyrian,’ referred to as the “great dragon” by Ezekiel, his anti-Christ kingdom international partners including various nations’ kings and the rest of his multitudes who will again be supernaturally chased away in their advances. The “manner of Egypt” that God will destroy refers to the anti-Christ Chaldean’s unconventional, cruel and unusual form of taking people captive and holding them in bondage. The Lord will “break the yoke of (the ‘Assyrian’s) burden.” A large part of the ‘Assyrian’s demise will be the result of silent spiritual warfare prior to the time God’s larger judgments come in the Day of the Lord. God says, “The spirit of Egypt will fail.” He also declares, “They also that uphold Egypt shall fall; and the pride of her power shall come down: from the tower of Syene shall they fall in it by the sword” (Ez. 30:6).
God will cause the Pharaoh-‘Assyrian’s anti-Christ system to turn against itself; he says, “I will mingle a perverse spirit in the midst” and will “destroy the tongue of the Egyptian sea.” All of the ‘Assyrian’s cooperating multitude will first be destroyed in this manner followed by real physical destruction. At the time when the ‘Assyrian’ is finally defeated darkness comes. Darkness and sorrow in scripture generally coincides with the coming of the Day of the Lord. God says to the ‘Assyrian’:
And when I shall put thee out, I will cover the heaven, and make the stars thereof dark; I will cover the sun with a cloud, and the moon shall not give her light. All the bright lights of heaven will I make dark over thee, and set darkness upon thy land. (Ez. 32:7-8)
Recall from above that the Pharaoh-‘Assyrian’s great prowess of the river and the sea represents his vast minion army and kingdom aligned against the Lord and his anointed Judah-centric “small flock” remnant. Just as the Pharaoh-‘Assyrian’ has commanded the “sea” in this unconventional war, so will the waters overflow him and his cooperating nations. In scripture we are told of waters consisting of an “overflowing flood” that will rise up out of the “north” and cover him in the unconventional, behind-the-scenes kingdom war.
The ‘Assyrian’s cooperating nation-partners and “helpers” that represent the “multitude of Egypt” and “daughters of the famous nations” are the ones God refers to, “…I will recompense them according to their deeds, and according to the works of their own hands” (Jer. 25:14). Their punishment will occur at the time that God says that he will “spoil the pomp of Egypt,” “famish all the gods of the earth,” bring down the “pride of her power,” and “send a fire” on the walls of these adversaries:
These fiefdoms of the Pharaoh-‘Assyrian’s kingdom as I described above geographically surround the current country of Israel. Yet as people groups supporting a worldwide anti-Christ system their cooperating minions also surround the Lord’s anointed remnant who live among the many ‘nations’ in ‘Babylon’-U.S. However, we are told that the Lord shall “beat off from the channel of the river unto the stream of Egypt” to recover his remnant people. This may remind you of the Lord’s deliverance of his people in Moses’ day, an event that has particular symbolic meaning applying for our last days.
Overall, a large part of defeating the 21st Century Pharaoh-‘Assyrian’ will be breaking down and publicly exposing truth about the mystery of iniquity that includes his far-reaching anti-Christ Chaldean surveillance and matrix system, its use of ‘Egyptian’ false gods and its strange idol-worshiping practices. The revealing of the Pharaoh-‘Assyrian’s worldwide anti-Christ Chaldean army of secret oath-takers and its order-obeying minion-slaves will cause much contention and strife when those who have been victims of this secret system understand how their rights have been violated. Meanwhile, enslaved minions who have participated in this underground system will not have understood the full-scale of the iniquity in which they were involved on behalf of the world’s corrupt leaders. This follows the biblical principle related to the blinding effect of oaths on those who pledge these.
‘Israel’ that has served under the Pharaoh-‘Assyrian’ will be ashamed
Again, the irony will be that so many of God’s people and Jesus Christ believers will finally awaken to the fact that they have served a secret organization under the ‘Assyrian’ that was actually their enemy. Passages below show that God’s people will be ashamed not only because they were themselves a part of the very network that persecuted their own righteous remnant people, but were part of a highly deceptive network that is actually an organized crime cabal and has committed the worst atrocities imaginable against mankind. You will recall God’s warning that I presented at the beginning of this passage against his people running to ‘Egypt’ or ‘Assyria’ in their time of need. After his people make this same mistake again in the last days the following is what God tells them:
Why gaddest thou about so much to change thy way? thou also shalt be ashamed of Egypt, as thou wast ashamed of Assyria. Yea, thou shalt go forth from him, and thine hands upon thine head: for the Lord hath rejected thy confidences, and thou shalt not prosper in them. (Jer. 2:36-37)
That walk to go down into Egypt, and have not asked at my mouth; to strengthen themselves in the strength of Pharaoh, and to trust in the shadow of Egypt! Therefore shall the strength of Pharaoh be your shame, and the trust in the shadow of Egypt your confusion. (Is. 30:2-3)
History will repeat. Israel did not learn their lesson before and will suffer the consequences again. But this will apply to many Gentiles worldwide as well who falsely believed that they were serving an organization for social justice or righteous vigilante causes. People all over the world who have pledged to and served the Chaldeans will be ashamed when the ugly truth about them is revealed.

Once world Babylon is defeated in the kingdom war, it will be time for God to re-establish his inheritance in his land. I will cover this topic in Part 4. I also describe the process of all nations returning to the Millennial Kingdom in my book, Biblical End Times, Volume 2.
