On this site I have written largely about end times prophecy pertaining to the last days lost sheep of the house of Israel. Given that Jesus himself said that he was not sent to anyone but these, we might consider his words as they apply in today’s end times. In fact, Jesus had many words […]
End Times Kingdom Adversaries According to the Prophet Daniel (Part 3)
In Parts 1 and 2 thus far in this series I have described the first two end times kingdom adversaries- initial Babylon and Media-Persia, respectively. In interpretation of these I have reminded that they are interrelated parts of an entire last days world kingdom. This empire is represented by the shiny, bright and great statue […]
End Times Kingdom Adversaries According to the Prophet Daniel (Part 2)
In Part 1 of this series I introduced the adversary’s final kingdoms on earth as described by the Prophet Daniel. These will be collectively destroyed by the Lord, who will then finally set up his eternal kingdom, “which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people…” (Dan. 2:44). First, […]
End Times Kingdom Adversaries According to the Prophet Daniel (Part 1)
My most recent series of passages covered the phases of end times events prior to the Day of the Lord. For additional context in considering this time period as well as the Day of the Lord/time of Revelation itself, it is helpful to understand the adversary’s kingdoms. It is reasonable to believe that these are […]
Major Phases of End Times Events Prior to the Day of the Lord (Part 2)
In Part 1 of this series, I addressed Phases 1 and 2 of the major events that will take place at the end of the age. I described these primarily from the standpoint of a final generation or remnant that goes through and is delivered out of the time of “Jacob’s trouble.” Once they are […]
Major Phases of End Times Events Prior to the Day of the Lord (Part 1)
In our current day many believers are wondering and raising questions about the end of the age. In the Christian community, the book of Revelation immediately comes to mind. And rightly so, given that our Lord and Savior instructed us to “keep the words of this prophecy” about his revealing, return and set-up of his […]
Will there be any ‘peace’ in the end times?
Current tumultuous times with seemingly endless perilous events have caused increased discussion in the international public forum about peace, safety and security. While leaders’ motivations and ability to deliver stability remains highly questionable in the eyes of many, it is helpful to remember that it is only our sovereign God who can deliver true peace […]
The Day of the Lord (Part 3)
In Part 1, I addressed the background and causes for God bringing his wrath on the inhabitants of the earth in the Day of the Lord. I also addressed the Lord’s personal vengeance and some aspects of his fighting against his and his people’s adversary on this Day. In Part 2, I addressed the Day […]
The Day of the Lord (Part 2)
In Part 1, I addressed the background and causes for God bringing his end times wrath on the inhabitants of the earth in the Day of the Lord. I also addressed the Lord’s personal vengeance and some aspects of his fighting against his and his servants’ adversary. In this passage, I will discuss the Day […]
The Day of the Lord (Part 1)
Overview The Day of the Lord is God’s end times wrath and judgment on the evil world system and its inhabitants. It is the Lord’s wicked house of Israel in particular that his eyes are fixed upon as the primary reason that he brings his wrath. We are told about this time, “The Lord has […]
